OUR SERVICES

Nearen’s involvement in the pre-construction and development stages of a project timeline is critical. Our initial goal is to help the customer validate the budget by reviewing the design documents, regardless of development stage, and setting target costs.

The Design/Build project delivery method is a turnkey solution that many owners and clients desire. In contrast to the owner handling the hiring of consultants, architects, testing agencies, contractors and other vendors, Nearen will organize these services in house so that the owner/client has a sole contact.

With 50 years of experience, Nearen Construction has achieved a respected “know-how” in the general contracting profession. Our management and field knowledge can be realized during different stages of construction and on varying project types and difficulty levels.

We are Nearen, with more than 55 years in a tough business, we have pleased demanding clients with every conceivable need from concept to completion–and with only the highest criteria for quality.

In the early 1980’s until 2013, Tommy Ross served as President. During his years of service, he assembled an incredible team. And with their hard work, helped grow the company into one of the southeasts premier commercial retail builders.

Austin Hall joined Nearen in 2011 as Vice President of Operations. He has operated the company as President since 2012. Austin wants to continue to build on the foundation that was laid many years before. Knowing that sometimes progress means change. But keeping in mind what made us special from the beginning, and that is relationships.

Throughout the years, our team has worked in numerous states throughout the southeast. Though retail centers have been our focus, we have expanded our building portfolio to; medical facilities, banks, schools, multi-level buildings and industrial centers.What has made Nearen successful is our team. They have a passion for their business and care about the company and its clients.
